Which Do I Get?

So, Yup, I am new to your site, and have learned a lot!

But, here is my Dilemma!...

 

I am looking at a 2003 Yukon XL

135,000 km's

Has body damage and needs a new mirror.

8.1 litre, not sure on rear end gear ratio.

 

Also looking at a 2004 Suburban

165,000 km's

Looks immaculate.

6.0 litre, 4:10 gear ration, less torque but mileage would probably be the same with the 8.1 litre.

 

The prices are the same!

 

I will be towing a trailer to haul 1000 Gallons of water (10,000 lbs)... couple times a month.

Will probably end up at Wester's to mess with the computer.... loved his work on the last truck...

 

So, What do you all think.... I need a truck, probably this weekend!!!

If you're towing, I'd have to recomend the 8.1l, as it will pull that 10,000 pounds so much easier.

yeah, towing will be better with the 8.1, but how much damage does it have? thats the deciding question
