mikebtexas Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 What are the best windshield wiper blades? The factory ones lasted about 2 years and the ones I buy at the auto parts store only last six or eight months and they are skipping across the windshield. I've bought Rain X, Michelin, and Trico. They have all been about the same. What would have been the factory brand?
RyanbabZ71 Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 The search button is your friend http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/index.php?...28&hl=wiper
ColoradoSkiCountry Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 Ditto on the factory blades being awesome.
Deconstruction Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 I will only buy OEM now I tried the super expensive top of the line NAPA ones and they were complete crap! they would only hit about 60% of the windshiled on a pass. If there is one thing I cannot stand it is worn out our crappy wipers
L76PWRD Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 Ditto on the factory blades being awesome. Yeah, they are really great. I need to replace them and I want the OEM ones.
MS3DALE Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 Anybody got part numbers for the OEM ones? 25877402

I bought michelens at cosco, out of convience and price (12$)
w00t Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 Haven't found any better than the OEM blades, that's why I'm willing to shell out the money for them at the dealer.
uchi Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 does the dealer only sell oine typw of blade or do they have premium version aswell? im gonna buy some before the winter but dont wanna grab the cheap crappy ones by mistake from them
revrnd Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 I have found that Ontario Motor Sales (the Chev dealer in Oshawa Ontario) sell both GM Part Div' & AC Delco blades. The GM Blades are pricier, but are good in my books. I put a new pair on each year around Nov', Dec'.
BlcDog Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 Iv'e been using PIAA's and they wrk great. No streaks. Went thru several prs of OEM blades. Also use Rain x on the glass. Good combo IMO.
