Got a set of mamba m3's and new tires put on saturday. I know i know, slacking on the pics. This weekend i should get some up. Every time i brake, i have that shake that many people get. So i pull the rears off to see if they took off the clips from the factory to hold the drums on...sure enough they didnt. I mean shouldnt pro's know that they need to come off? So thats not the big issue. They managed to cross thread EVERY STUD. Some worse than others. So i call and tell him this and mention that i dont know how they did it, maybe they dont start them by hand before firing away with the gun and he tells me they CANT put them on with the gun because they are welded in reverse, it must have happened when they torqued them on. Are you serious? I am sure i put more force than the 137 lb factory spec they are supposed to put it back to when i use the cross bar and i never stripped and or cross threaded studs. Well see what they do to fix this before i give my final impression of them. But even for the discount, i may never go back.

That sucks  Not sure how they managed to do this??? Maybe they didn't put the right lug nuts back on that had different threads???

Hope you get it worked out.

You would think it would be impossible to cross thread every stud if you were trying to do it intentionally...

Oh! Town Fair Tire, I took the wifes 04 envoy there to replace 4 tires(80,000 on stock michlens) Got mastercraft tires for a good price, mtg. bal.. MyProblem with T F Tire is the free frt. alingment they offer, First, its only free for the front the rear needs to be set also in the suv's an extra charge that they don't tell ya about, Ok that being said I took my sons 04 Canyon in to have 4 tires and the FREE alingment done on it and after two return trips to argue with management finnaly got a good handling ride. Days later under the truck to help son change oil, looed at the frt. end parts and found only one wrench mark on a tie-rod adj. sleve !!!! Their reputation in the N.E. is Set the Toe and let em' go ! be careful with who ya let work on our stuff! Good luck
