Hey guys, I have a 1984 GMC Sierra 2wd 1/2 ton. I recently replaced the original turbo 350 transmission because the original one had a crack in the casing. I found another one on craigslist that had a non-lockup torque converter and came out of an 81 C10 but needed a new pan gasket and a fluid change (the fluid was a nasty brown color). I installed the transmission and put all new fluid and a new pan gasket on it. Then I figure out that the seal behind the torque converter is leaking. :loser: Is there a cheap way to stop the leak without taking the whole transmission down again??

Also, a friend has a 700R4 that he will sell to me that is coming off of a 94' chevy van. Will this transmission bolt right up to my 350?
