Wheel Width And Tire Size

Hey guys, as a Christmas present to myself this year I'm getting a new set of rims and tires. I finally settled on a set of fuel off rhost octane rims in 20inch. Just curious how wide i can go on a stock gmt900 4x4 crew cab slt. I'm running the stock 20s now. I don't have plans for lifting and if i do lift later it will not be anything more than a level. Just crious how wide i can go and what size tire i can go without rubbing or any cutting on the stock ride. Any suggestions on combinations are greatly appreciated. I'M going with an all season type tire or something like the wrangler silent armor. Nothing too aggressive in tread.

275/55/20 or 285/50/20

The best you can do in those wheels is a 20x9 (0 offset), so a 285/50 would probably be about it.
