Vibration When In Auto 4

Hey guys- we had some snow and ice here last night. I left the truck in Auto 4 which works perfectly. However, I noticed when I would be coasting I could feel a vibration and faintly hear it as well. Anything I should be worried about or what do you guys think? I didn't use 4Hi, so I'm not sure if it does it in that or not.

Maybe CV or the front driveshaft. From the description I though maybe you had the "clutch rattle" but that is only in 2wd. There is also a front diff tsb but again that is for noise in 2wd only.

 

See if you have the noise in 4H. How many miles on the truck? It may be just a little chain moan from the transfer case.

Only have about 49,000 miles on her.

My '05 had started to develop a "moan and groan" when in auto around the time I decided to trade it in. It was noticable at highway speed but got much worse when turning corners. I expect some noise or buckling, afterall it's a 4x4 not a mercedes, but the sudden noise development and the dealer saying it was normal combined with my expiring warranty prompted a trade-in for me.
