Bug Deflector(s)?

I have an AVS Bugflector II. I bought it about 4 years ago after I got tired of scrubbing all the bugs off my hood after extended night driving. It works great, keeps my hood clean. My only complaint is that sometimes I hear noise or turbulence at speeds of 75+ mph. I have heard other say the same thing, that the bugshield disrpts the flow of air over the truck and causes turbulence and noise along the windshield. I have learned to deal with it though. Its not a big deal and I usually have the radio up loud enough to where I dont hear it anyways.

I have a WeatherTech bug shield. It was easy to install and is form fitting. Good quality. As said above, it does cause some noise along the windshield. There is a thread on this site with a TSB about this problem. Install some 3M tape under the windshield molding on each side and problem solved. Easy fix.

AVS Bugflector. Got it about a week after I got the truck when I noticed the first stone chip on the front of the hood. I got the windshield air noise too starting at around 65 mph. Other than that it does what it's supposed to do.
