Gm Lockpick

Anyone have the GM lockpick installed? How do you guys like it? What kind of features do you gain? Anyone know of good suppliers that will offer a good deal if buying 4-6 of them? Install pics?

I had 2 units and both lasted two years trouble-free then both started with problems. THe first one (Gen IV) in the enclave was great until two years and then there were static noises coming out of the stereo. After months of troubleshooting, finally pulled out the lockpick and the noises disappeared. On my Denali, similar problem but only intermittent. Once I updated the nav disk and noticed gm removed many of the nannies, I never re-installed the lockpick.

 

I bought them for both vehicles to allow address entry into the nav while moving. They both worked very well for the first two years. At their price point, I'm not sure I can recommend them.

Main purpose for me would be addy entry, additional camera hookup, ipod connect(in Caddy), and dvd in motion.
