08 Silverado Ft Diff Leak

I got a 2008 silverado and the ft d/s axle seal seeme to be leaking. Truck currenly has 46k miles on it just curious to see if anyone else has had any issues with these and how difficult the job might be to do?

I have had both of my diff output seal replaced on the front end. Warranty item go see the dealer.

Thanks thought it might be out because of the mileage over36k currently at 46

had both sides replaced once at 10000ish, 35000ish and just recently around 65000ish

Even 65k mile ones were replaced under warantee??

Diff seals covered until 100K no problem

I own an 06, my front pass. side is leaking and has been for a couple years. Am I covered until 100k?

That's great I wasn't looking forward to doing that job in the winter thanks for the info

spoke to the dealer this morning it is covered under the 100k mile warantee. I think the 06 would also have the 5yr 100k on it as well might depend on when you bought the truck to get it covered

Only 2007 and up are 100K
