Hey Randy4800, where did you buy your intake system from?? I have a K&N system, but the polished aluminium tube looks nice! I wouldn't mind changing mine out like that.  Thanks.

Actually, its Chromed steel... Got it from MAC Performance (macperformance.com) for about $200... Im very happy with it.. And along with it and my TB spacer I did notice some power gain, especially when passing on the highway... (BTW, the intake system MAC sells may not be listed online.. But call their California store and just ask for the right one... Request a Catalog too.. They have a good looking exhaust system that im looking into)

When you added your TBS with the intake, how close did the tube come to your fan shroud.  I have heard that you may need to trim the tube down because the shroud rubs against it. Was this the case with your application?

nice, red is always good, (unless its on a caddy, BLAH :uhoh: )

yeah, what is that emblem?

I like how clean the engine compartment is, how much time did you spend on that?

Some chrome pipes coming out the back would be awesome!

What kind of decal is that on the bed?

The decal is some "SS" style crap that the dealer put on... Ive just never gotten around to taking it off... :jester:

My engine compartment always stays clean... I really dont ever have to do anything other than wipe off the tube and the Vortec Cover occasionally... For some reason it just stays relatively clean...

With MAC's intake there is a rubber boot that just so happens to come up against the shroud right there... So I didnt have to cut any of the lip out being that the rubber sorta "forgives" right there... It doesnt bend the boot in but about 1/2 of an inch so I didnt have to worry about it... The only problem I did run into was having to go down and buy slightly longer peice of hose for that  ??? Coolant ??? line that runs into the TB... :thumb:
