Changing Differential Fluid

I'm going to be changing the diff fluid in my truck never done it yet on my truck. I can do it on my 03 Wrangler no problems. I got a 07 Silverdao 4.8L LT not 4x4 with 70,000 on it according to the owner manual front takes 70w90 but don't say how many quarts. The rear takes 80w90 but again didn't say how much, on my jeep you can take the whole diff cover off I assume by looking at the back I can do it this way not sure about the front didn't check it. Anyone got a write-up on this or advice thanks.

You do or do not have a 4 x 4? You can put a synthetic 75w-90 in both. Should take 5 for both the front and rear diffs. Or you'll need 3 for the rear alone. You won't need all of the third one. You fill it according to your manual.

Write-up for rear.
