Thoughts On My Grille...

What are your thoughts about my grille? Should I paint the surrounding grille black to match the truck or leave it chrome. If painted black I would make the emblem chrome.

Personally I think the chrome looks good on a black truck, especially with the bowtie black. Also it's just more paint up front to get chipped up as well.

It's a toss up. Since your bumper is black,.. the chrome looks good, but if you were to color match the front end with a chrome or polish bow tie,.. it would look good too.

I say paint it! I just did mine and I love the look and get alot of complements . Everybody has the stock chrome one. If you look in the custom truck mags most of or not all have painted front grills with little or no chrome. just go for it!

exactly what i was thinking, except im personally not a fan of that grill i think a billet one would look a lot better.

What kind of paint do you use on the front end that lasts?

I just had mine painted by a paint shop. You can do it yourself if you take your time. I like the look of Blackout07 tuck all black. I have some telling me to paint the bowtie but I like it better black. I added the grill in that color because I couldn't find the same 4 piece in black. I am thinking about powder coating it black when i get back from my deployment.
