Truck: 08 Silverado CC 2wd with factory 20's 23500miles

RC: 2" leveling kit

 

I have about 3000 miles on the truck since I put the leveling kit and I noticed that the front tires are wearing more in the front on the center of the tire vs the rear tires. I have not rotated the tires at all. Anybody else noticed this?

did you get an alignment after you installed the level kit?

Alignment is a plus... but rotating the tires is a must

The center of the tire is wearing? I would say they are over inflated. What pressure you running?

Also did you align after the lift?

I installed the RC leveling kit about 2 years ago and got an alignment right after that. I rotate the tires every 10,000 miles and have been really impressed with the factory rubber. I am at 46,000 miles and they are all wearing evenly and have a lot of tread left. I am actually kind of anxious for them to wear a bit so I can get my 285s!

i have the rc 2" running 285s and i rotate every 5000 miles. the tires have almost 25000 miles on them and still look almost new. i run a lot of highway and a lot of gravel and offroad so im very pleased with the results so far.
