Removing body moldings

Continuing this question, I have an 02 Silverado and want to remove a few of the badges.  I have had the truck for about 10 months now, can I take them off without hurting the paint or appearance?  And how do you remove them?

Any help is appreciated....

You can use fishing line to "saw" the badges and molding off.  Then, you rub the excess tape off w/ your thumb.  You can use some WD-40 to remove the left over residue.  After that just wax your truck and it should look awesome.  I recommend this highly, debadged everything looks awesome.

park it in direct sunlight for about an hour or longer  then  start at one edge and peel off at a 90 degree angle.  if theres any tape left off the molding just rub it off with your thumb  and if theres any adhesive left off the badges just rub it off with some adhesive remover or wd40..  then wax

One question.....on the 2500 HD's from Chevy and GMC is there any holes under the badging on tailgate, doors, etc?  A buddy did this to another brand and low and behold behind the sticky tape was 2 holes for line up with the badges haveing 2 pins that went in.

back on went the badges.  You might need to confirm this before doing the work

Just spray some 3M adhesive remover on them. Let them sit for a minute or two, then peel off.   Took about 20 min. to do my entire truck.  If you do it with the 3M, do it on a day when you can wash and wax your truck.  The adhesive remover will strip the wax off of the paint.
