2007 Silverado

I bought this truck new in 07 put about 10000 miles on before the problem started. I have it back to Tom Gill Cheverolet in Florence Ky numerous times and they have been unable or unwilling to fix the problem with my truck. Here is what it is doing: It started out in July of 08, and only occured on very hot days. I was out in my truck yesterday 3-6-2011 it was in the 40's and raining and it did it again.

 

I can drive the truck a few miles and the temp guage will goto "0" and the coumputer will give a message that the engine is hot and the ac has been turned off. I can unhook the battery cable and everything will go back to normal and it may stay that way for a few mile upto and including a few months before occuring again. Any help woud be greatly appreciated.
