Bed Size Question

I just ordered the GM OEM bed rail protectors but i am kind of confused because it says that they are for all trucks with the 6'6 bed i measured mine and it is not 6'6 its like 6' i have the crew cab 2010 standard bed which i assume is a short bed. The part number is 17802474 i am worried that they will be to long but from what i have read on here that is the part number that everyone orders, so my question is will they fit?

You ordered the wrong ones, you needed 17802473 for the 5"8" bed the 1500 crew cab has.

Well great now i am worried i just sent gmpartsdirect.com an e-mail that i ordered the wrong part and i need to replace it with the other part. But since it is a special order from what i read they will not cancel any orders i hope they dont screw me on this. Is all i want to do is exchange it for the right part.

Well i think this website is going to screw to me, I dont think they will exchange it for the right part. I e-mailed them yesterday and i still have not heard anything back. All of the reviews i have read from this place are terrible i should have known better than to order from them to save 2 dollars. The customer service is absolutely terrible.

Did you put your vin in to verify parts? they might notice the mistake

You ordered the wrong part. The site clearly says no returns on special order items. If they decided to exchange it, they would be doing you a favor. If not, well you should have made sure it was what you needed. Double check, 110% positive that it is right. Sorry man, but it is your fault.
