What 6" Suspension Lift Should I Get?

Hello eveyone,

I am looking to put a lift on my truck, but I dont want to mess around with a crappy, low quality lift. I am looking to get a high quality 6" suspension lift and I am not sure as to which brands provide high quality lift kits.

I am aware that many lift kits do not recommend going over 20 mph in 4wd. This is a concern because I live in Michigan and the winters roads often demand some extra performance and 20 mph is simply too slow for me.

Are there 6" suspension lifts that allow for reasonable speeds while in 4wd?

Thanks in advance

:seeya: Where in the world did you read that?

I ran Skyjacker 6" lift on my 03 for more than 5 years without issue. It didn't push the front wheels out either much like others and at the time, it was one of the few lifts that were considered complete bolt on. Now most are. You'll hear from everyone with a lift that there's is the best, and Not saying they aren't but I can tell you that I towed 6500lbs every weekend for nearly 4-5 years of ownership, ran 35" tires without issue and it was no street queen. I pushed my share of mud around. That's my impression/Experience with Skyjacker.

Superlift, Fabtech, BDS all quality lifts as well.

I think I may have been reading about non-autotrac vehicles with the speed restriction in 4wd.

I have been looking into some of the different lift kits and I see that many of them require cutting into the frames of the vehicle.

Does anyone know of any bolt on 6" suspension lifts?

All the good kits have already been listed in this thread..

ProComp, BDS, Fabtech, Superlift, Rough Country....all are of good quality...I don´t think you make a mistake by going with one of them...I decided to go with ProComp...they had the appropriate driveshaft for my AWD
