Help With Headlight Wiring, Running Lights

I'm putting in some black housing CCFL Halo projector lights to complete the black-out of my 2009 1500 LT.

The lights use the factory harness but you have to quick connect the LED lights and Halos into the running light + and -

Its pretty easy to figure out what is what in the 8 pin plug, only 6 pins are used. Once you rule out the wires for high and low beam there are three that run into the the running/turn-signal lamps. The black is obviously negative so that leaves light blue with white stripe and brown.

Since both bulbs are active for running lights and both blink for a turn signal that means one is a constant power + and the other is some kind of repeater (I'm not sure if that is the right electrical term).

So I obviously want the constant power running light wire... so light blue or brown?

I've searched the forum for this topic or a wiring diagram and came up with zilch! I also don't have a volt meter handy and the truck is taken apart right now so I can't go buy one! Help!

Well... since I got no response from anyone I went and bought a volt-meter. Once I test the wires I'll post the results in case anyone else come looking for an answer to the same question.

let me know what you find out. I am looking at these head lights too and am curious about the difficulty of hooking up those running lights.

Thanks,

Chris
