2003 Gmc Starts And Shuts Off "unknown Driver"

2003 GMC Sierra 2500HD, 2WD Regular Cab...Haven't driven the truck in two weeks. The battery was dead. I put a set of jumpers on and it started right up, then shut right off. The truck will start right back up again and then die again. The panel displays " Unkown Driver". I tried using two different keys with no luck. Any help would be great. I don't even know where to start. As of right now I have both batteries disconnected for about a half hour to try and reset everything.

Start by disconnecting the battery, fully charge it and have it tested. I think the security system is active and won't let the truck run. Probably caused by the dead battery. However it might have to be cleared with a Tech ll scanner.

After having the no start problem, my solution was to lock the door with the remote and then unlock it with the remote and see what happens.

Might work, but it needs a good battery.
