What's This Wire?

OK, Rich and I have been discussing this issue, and I'd like to hear some thoughts from others....I have a 2011 Silverado ext z71. While installing a factory Rear View Camera, I lifted up the carpet and mat under the drivers side. I found a coil of wire lying there, and it runs up the door pillar. It looks like a coax style wire, not stranded style. There has to be at least a 4 - 6ft length coiled up! Truck has the remote start RPO, I did not purchase the factory fobs and installation .......My thought is that it may be the antenna for the factory remote start....Has anyone else found this, or know what it's there for?

Possible....I don't know where the DVD screen(s) would be on an extended cab, headrests or ceiling mount? I failed to say that there was no connection on the end of the wire either.

The remote start antenna is located on the C-pillar on the drivers side behund the plastic cover.

I thought that one was for the antenna for the "extended range" not the regular. On a side note, did you get my message about adding the rear window with defrost? You were correct, wiring was there, and all worked off the controller, with the mirror button instead of the window icon.....

I have a question I bought a 2003 H2 that wasn't taken care of and came with a single key. I checked my RPO codes and I don't have either code for remote start or keyless entry. I did buy a GM keyless entry fob and program it to my H2. I'm just wondering if it has remote start. I found code DNR which I looked up and it said equipped dealer installed 4374 P anyone have more of an explanation for code DNR? Could of had a update sticker at one time but like I said previous owner didn't take care of this hummer that came with a off road package ,deluxe leather interior and merchant package special edition( whatever that means)! I learned this reading the RPO codes. Or tell me where to look for the vault button and if I have one that would solve that!

Did you buy the truck new or used, if used it may have belonged to a volunteer fireman and may have went for radio and/or lights.
