Gun information wanted

There seems to be some people that may know the answer... I tried Internet searches but I could not find anything.

 

I'm looking for information on a Husqvarna Rifle model H-5000. When were they made, etc...

Swedish made guns.Don't even know if they still make firearms but I could probably find out.

 

Very little dealings with them but talking with people who have owned them in the past and never heard of a problem with them.

 

Only thing is that if one ever breaks parts would be hard to find for it.

I was able to find out that it is a swedesh company and they no longer make firearms at all. If I could find out when they stopped making them, I would have a better idea to how old the gun is. of course anything additional information would be great as well.

 

The gun was my dad's and was passed down to me along with a shotgun awhile back. I checked on the shotgun it was made back in 1950, still prestine condition but I found out that the shotgun has been recalled for a safety reason with the bolt. Yup, bolt action shotgun.

It's a fairly od gun from what I can find.Made like back in the 60's it would appear because one of the last rifle modles they made was the 8000 and from the date it doesn't appear they made the 5000 and 8000 along side of each other.

Yea it did, Thx! Though it didn't come out and say my model, I got the history of the company and it seems my rifle was made in the late 50's to early 60's.
