I'm buying the RC 2" level kit soon. I plan on putting in 3" blocks in the rear. Here are my questions.

1. Will the ride quatlity be affected by the blocks in the rear?

2. By putting the blocks in the rear, will the truck sag when I am towing? I have a 20' SeaRay and a 16' tandem axle trailer I tow during the summer. I don't want any sag in the rear end.

3. Do I need anything other than the RC level kit and the blocks? I know I need an alignment. But anything else?

Thanks for the help guys. This site is awesome.

1. Your ride quality won't change

2. By adding the blocks, your just effectively raising the rear, so your going to have a similar stance to what you have now, only 2" higher in the front and 1" higher in the rear. You'll still have some rake.

3. I'd replace the factory u-bolts with new ones since your changing the blocks. They aren't ment to be reused.

Thanks for the reply. Two more questions.

1. So that is a 1" rake after the installs? Will that keep the rear from sagging when loaded down?

2. What is the factory rake?

3. Do the new U-bolts usually come with the blocks or do I have to order those seperate?

Sorry for the questions. Just want to make sure I get this right the first time.

1. Yes... and somewhat. Depends on how much load you put in the rear

2. Factory rake seems to be right around 2-1/2"

3. Not sure... I think they do with some kits.

I ordered 3" blocks from zone offroad and the u bolts were seperate.

I have been doing research all day and I have found conflicting answers. I plan on getting the 3" readylift blocks. Do I need shock extensions or not? Some posts say I do, some say I don't. Thanks.
