2004 Power Extending Camper Mirror

I took out the drivers side power extending camper mirror on my 04 Yukon XL the other day. I found a replacement on fleabay that came off an 04 Sierra HD. But the guy is telling me it's not heated. It looks exactly the same, has the integrated turn signal, etc. But my research thus far leads me to believe all of those mirrors were heated.

 

Can anyone tell me for sure if that mirror came in heated and non-heated versions, or confirm that they were all heated?

To my knowledge they are. Maybe the heat function on his does not work. I have a set of those mirrors for sale if that one does now work out. Let me know if you are interested. They are off my 04 chevy 2500.

I'm not wanting to split them just yet. If I can't sell them I may split them later.

I have the factory extendable mirrors on my 04 2500HD and they are not heated.My owners manual does not mention it for the extendable mirror? Good luck!

Thanks. But I confirmed it with the company that holds the original design, and still services them. They assured me that all those style were heated. They said a lot of folks didn't realize it because GM didn't put the little heated symbol in the mirror.

Hey Jeb, what did you find out on your mirrors and were they heated,if they were how do you turn the heat on? are they auto heat etc. sounds like your research shows mine may be able to be heated.Thanks robojeeper

Yes, the one I got was indeed heated, even though the former owner didn't realize it. I had one cool, foggy morning after installing it to test with, and it worked beautifully. To turn it on, just like my old one, I just hit the rear window defroster button.
