I just purchased a 2002 2WD Silverado shortbox with a 4.3. When changing the oil I noticed a severely rotted frame support and I am trying to ID the part and part # so I can replace it. It is a bolt on piece, about 2.5' long and there are two of them. The are round with pinched ends where the bolt-in. The make a "V" and I believe (from memory) that they bolt from the frame rails to the tranny crossmember.

 

Anyone know the name for these and what the part # is?
