Stuck Dodge in Buffalo

I am laughing so hard I don't know if I can type or not, watching the late evening news on TV channel out of Nashville TN and they show a picture of Buffalo and talk about all of the snow they are getting and the announcer says that even the plows were having problems and there is a Dodge 2500 must have been a Diesel from all of the smoke coming out of the tail pipe and all four wheels spinning on the Dodge. It looked like it had about 8 or 10 inches of snow pushed up on the blade, I hope that you all get to see it.

Last I heard they have had 82" of snow, with another foot coming tonight. All I have to say is, if ANY truck avoids getting stuck up there, its because it is still in the garage.

Man, I tell you what... Just got back from Rochester, NY about 15 minutes ago. They had maybe 3 inches, if that. The stuff in Buffalo is super wet heavy snow, with the bottom layer ice. As anyone with a plow knows, you can't plow a heavy frost with ice underneath it! Not that I'm sticking up for the D***e guy, but we were driving around closer to Buffalo in the Montero, with all the diffs locked up and we only got up to like 20 mph. Really fun though!

Agreeing with Jp. With all the snow they've been getting, the only thing won't get stuck would be a Polaris - ;)

I've seen some serious snow in my time, between the Blizzard of '93, on the east coast that snowed me in for 5 days with over 5 feet of snow and living in the Rockies for the last 6 years. But what those poor folks in Buffalo are going through is unbelievable! :0 :0 :0 :0

No kidding! They're probably going to have to call in the Donner Pass 10-foot high snow-blowers to dig out of all that snow.

The 8" we have here doesn't seem like anything in comparison..... good God that's alot of snow.

You know that you have more snow than you can handle if you have a full blade while you are driving along and the plow is in its upper most transport position. From what I've read a lot of that has been going on. At least the driving ban has been lifted up there now.
