Problems after a P.A. 3" body lift on 2000 Z-71

Put a P.A. 3" body lift on a 2000 Z-71 last weekend.  Looks great and the job went pretty well.   Just time consuming.  The only problem encountered was when we lifted the cab, the floor mounted transfer case shifter linkage pulled away from the ball socket.   We put the ball socket back like it should be but had to disconnect the linkage because there are some transmission fluid lines and wiring cable running above the transfer case.   There is a stout bracket held by two bolts (that bolt into the transfer case).   Funny--the instructions did not mention the transfer case shifter at all.   I called P.A. and they said to simply push the bracket up out of the way.   That bracket is pretty stout to be just pushed out of the way.  Anyone ever encounter this problem?   ???

I had the same problem.

If you look at my install info a friend and I fabricated a makeshift harness to pull the lines out of the way from the linkage to allow it to freely move.  We didn't have the linkage pop off like yours, but it did shift into 4-hi and we were unable to get it back into 2-hi.

It was tricky to get it back in working w/ the limited space and even harder to find existing anchor points, but it is doable.
