2010 Silverado 5.3- Throttle Body Issue?

2010 Silverado- 5.3 LTZ No modifications (It was supposed to have a supercharger installed tomorrow, this kind of changed things) 5200 miles. I was pulling out of my friends driveway, the truck went into "limp mode" The display then said service the Stabiltrak, and Traction Control systems. I turned the truck off, restarted, and all was fine. The next time I drove the truck it had no issues. It hasn't gone into "limp mode" again, but randomly on start up it disables the traction control and stabiltrak systems, and says they need service.

I did a little "internet diagnostics", rumor has it that there is a TSB about the throttle body, and that there is a new part to replace it. Any insight into this issue would help. (I don't care if I have to pay outside of the warranty to have the TB replaced- just not looking to put a supercharger on a time bomb)

Thanks for Any help you can provide!

What mod's are currently done to the truck? Try disabling the traction/stability system and see if it happens again.

The codes were scanned with a generic OBD II scan tool. I'll disable the systems and see what happens. The truck currently has no modifications.

I had the same issue with my 08 what it was the brake switch, it never stored a code for me so I just drove it until the service notice popped up then I drove it straight to the dealer and they fixed it under warranty. However I am still having the random stall issue and I am thinking the TB needs to be cleaned. Hope this helps.

Why not clean the maf sensor instead, the OP had a traction control issue as well as you did, nothing to do with TB I'm thinking
