Dic Controls & Compass & Os Temp.has Anyone Who Has Added Dic

Has anyone who has added DIC controls been able to display outside temp or compass direction on the DIC? This question was asked in the general forums, but no one has been able to answer it. Can you of you experts help? I'm assuming a temp sensor and compass has to be added to the harness somewhere.

I added a DIC panel and it displays engine and trip data....no temperature or compass. If so equipped those feastures would be displayed in the mirror.

Works on a 2009 GMC. Change out the mirror and you can have them in two places.

May I ask how you added the DIC? I have a 07 Sierra that only has the speedo control for a few functions but I read somewhere that you can change the air vent,headlight bezel to the left of steering wheel that has the buttons for the DIC and there was a factory plug behind the dash in that area that would allow full acces.

As you know everything on the internet is true(haha). So Im trying to find someone who has done this mod.

Is your 2007 a GMT900 (like the 2008+) or is it a GMT800? All you have to do if it is order the DIC, itcomes with the new panel and buttons for the DIC. Here is a How-To.

^^^^Yep, I added the DIC buttions, piece of cake. I bought the panel and buttons from GM Parts Direct. But, back to the original question has anyone or does anyone know how get the temp or compass functions to work?
