Christiank22 Posted July 8, 2011 Posted July 8, 2011 Alright so I was set on getting a 6in lift with 35in tires but the guy who is installing my lift is going to give me a good installation fee if I order through him and that's on RC lifts. Are RC lifts good and also it's either 5 or 7.5 I'm leaning 7.5 with 35's on a GMT-900 does anyone have any pictures of a truck like this or any suggestions on if it would be too big?
blackout07 Posted July 8, 2011 Posted July 8, 2011 Don't. Stick with your original plan and get the BDS kit.
Matt_ Posted July 8, 2011 Posted July 8, 2011 Don't. Stick with your original plan and get the BDS kit. x1000

Christiank22 Posted July 8, 2011 Author Posted July 8, 2011 Does anyone know anything about Zone Offroad Lift Kits?
stlavsa Posted July 8, 2011 Posted July 8, 2011 Does anyone know anything about Zone Offroad Lift Kits? Zone is a sister company to BDS. People have used them and from what i know people like them and have had good luck with them. Ive never been able to look at one in person, though.

Around here your gonna get 3 recommendations, BDS for 6" Fabtech for 8" and Rancho for 5"
Matt_ Posted July 8, 2011 Posted July 8, 2011 Does anyone know anything about Zone Offroad Lift Kits? Zone is basically the cheap brand of BDS. Kind of like what Chevy is to Cadillac. You have a Sierra Denali... do it right from the start and go with BDS. They're top notch and not really that expensive.
cparks555 Posted July 8, 2011 Posted July 8, 2011 What they said, it would be BDS for me if I could have a do over.
Christiank22 Posted July 8, 2011 Author Posted July 8, 2011 Alright thanks a lot guys I'll go with the BDS, this is my final question, I need a Dual CV front drive shaft and I'm looking at a Tom Woods does anyone know the specs I'll need for a 6in lift?
blackout07 Posted July 9, 2011 Posted July 9, 2011 I didn't re-read it, but I think he talks about his dshaft in this thread. http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/index.php?...84349&st=30
asvinci Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 I have a 2011 silverado with a 6 inch BDS lift and I cant tell you how happy I am with the lift. I would go with BDS, Fabtech, or Rancho depending on how high you want the truck lifted. I went with BDS because of the lifetime warranty and they have great customer service. If your gonna lift your truck do it the right way and spend the extra money. Good Luck
