Hey all, I got my RC 1.25" body lift installed, except for the rear bumber, I was shorted a couple pucks in the kit which are being sent to me. Anyway the blue truck has a 2.5" front level with a 2.5" rear block (stock 1" block removed) + the 1.25 RC BL. My Sierra has the Fabtech 6" with 35's to compare the two. The Chevy still has the stock 265/65R18's. Next will be some larger tires, i like the stock wheel (wish they were wider) and mount something to them, i think......

Im thinking about putting the 1.25 on the white truck now!

Thanks for the compliments, guys. I have a couple new pics, but have not added my tires, yet. Ahhh, i cant wait. My son and I did tool around and took one of my 35's off the Sierra and put on the blue truck. Not even close....... Being able to do these little lifts and stuff yourself with your boys is just too much fun!

A before and after comparison. The first is with the 2.5/2.5 suspension kit and the second is with the bodylift added. I think you can defin. see a difference.

For the 2.5 lift, i had to cut the tips of the bolts off the top of the spacer on each side, which was a pain because I had a crappy wheel. For the body lift you have to cut off edges of the rear bumper bracket which was easier, i bought a 6 gallon compressor and a pneumatic cutter. I had to cut in spurts cause it sucked the pressure, but made the job a lot easier. Other than that, after you do the first side of the 2.5, the second will go 3 times faster and the body was really easy. I got the rear bumper reinstalled, the kit was minus some pucks, so i had to wait to get in the mail. The customer service at Rough Country was really good.

Its easy to do yourself, and I dont feel any difference in steering play or anything. All the bumper angles (front/back) are back so i dont have anything bad to say about the kit. Its my first body lift, and an inexpensive way to get some quality lift. Like i said, thinking of putting one on the sierra, now.
