wind noise

A friend of mine got his 03 2500HD and said he didn't notice any wind noise until he installed his bug shield. Is this a known problem for the HD's and is there a simple solution ?

The simple soulution is to apply double stick tape to the underside of the vertical moldings on each side  of the windshield. (between the molding and the windshield)

 

Remove the moldings from the truck, clean everything good with alcohol, and apply the double stick. 3M makes some nice strong 3/8" wide Automotive grade tape that works quite well.
