Why Not 295s?

This post can actually refer to anyone with a truck, not just the 1500 / 2500 crowd.  But I had to pick a forum to list it under.  Anyways here is the question.

"Why dont more people use the tire size 295/75??? I see alot of people listed as using the 285s, 305s, and 315s, but hardly see anyone with the 295s!!! They are great tires and fit on my stock GM rims.  Whenever someone asks the age-old question of "what tires will fit", most often its either 285s or 305s.  Que pasa?  Just wondering if I am the only one with the 295s.  A side note:  I had the t-bars tightened after the tires were installed, and only for the look of the truck.  I didnt experience any rubbing with that size, even 4 wheeling!!!

So dont be afraid of the 295s!!!!!!

I knew they would fit the stock rims.  THis guy mark had em on his Z71 but with a bodylift

Also how much did they run you? Tirerack lists them at $176  :jester:

Yeah, I figured that the 295s are not that readily available, but with BFG ATs being available, who needs any other tire?

I purchase mine at Discount Tire in Tucson for $190.00 balanced and with the road hazard warranty.
