Well I went to the dealership to order some 285 70R17 Trail Grapplers but they were on back order. For 2.50 more per tire I went ahead and got 295s since I am needing tires now. I know you guys are picture crazy so I will try and get some pics up late tomorrow afternoon. I dont figure I will have any serious rubbing issues with 295s over 285s, will I?

Nitto's run large so their 295/70/17 equals 33.54x11.97

You will definitely rub some with those tires even on stock wheels. Just do some trimming to fit and post pics when done.

thanks for the heads up. what areas might require trimming? i never had to do any on my 04 ford with 35's. the wheel wells on that thing were massive.

I'm running 285/70/17 Nitto Trails and I got a good amount of room with only a 2" level. I think you might be alright. You might rub your sway bar though just because of the width.

well I got them installed and dang are they heavy but they look and handle great. the only thing that's rubbing that I can find is my driver's side mud flap and thats only at odd angle turn ins. I took a few pictures of my truck today in its natural habit: a field.
