New car fever kick-in so I sold my truck. I missed it already but I'm not shedding any tears right now though. I picked this up on Sat. She is a 2004 M3 with 24k miles. Flew down to Sarasota to pick her up and drove 12 hrs back to NC. I know the truck has a lot of power but the acceleration in the M3 is just incredible. If GM put a small diesel in the next generation truck, I'm pretty sure I'll be back in truck mode. For now the M3 will be the ultimate toy.

I kept my truck (it is paid for) and bought this six months ago!

Umm, that is a sweet ride. I'm pretty sure I'll get a beater truck sooner or later. Now that Ford has the ecoboost for their truck. My thought is that GM has to come out something to top this in terms of power and fuel economy. I think direct injection will not cut it. Therefore, my hope is they will come out with a small (3.5l) diesel and both problems will be solved.

This is the third Bimmr I have owned but my first convertible. I don't drive them in the winter so it is a pleasure car only! People can rag on these cars all they want... but until they have driven one they will never understand the meaning of "The Ultimate Driving Machine"!

On my way back from Sarasota (picking up the car), all these idiots were egging me on to race them on the highway with their shitty civics. I didn't buy this thing to race even though I know my car would embarrass them. This is my first convertible and I love riding topless.

never been much for BMW, i'm not really into euro cars...american muscle comes first with ricers coming second and the italians coming third...put the buggati veron in between 2nd and 3rd...but whatever makes you happy man, i'm not going to knock BMW they build nice rides

Brilliant car and that looks in great shape but it I would never drive one and now everyone is going to think you're a bit off cuz everyone who drives m3's seems to be a bit off

I have never owned a BMW and certainly not a convertible. I'd prob get a coupe if I had owned a convertible in the past. It so nice to ride with the top down though. It's certainly a really fun car to drive. Merging on to the highway is such a blast. Once in 3rd gear, you just gun it. I don't race or drive very aggressively at all. I just really like this car but I'm thinking about buying a beater truck just to haul stuff around. I know this is a chevy forum and I've never owned a Ford. What do you guys think of this truck and what would be a reasonable price for this? They are asking $3995. Sorry here the link to the truck:

These are my toys. The 07 Silverado is my daily driver and the 07 328i Sport Package is the fiance's. I have owned a few BMW's. They are great cars...........if they have a warranty.

Have fun with the ///M :dunno:

I would love to buy a toy as soon as I pay off my truck....the only thing stopping me is that the Wife doesn't want to pay anymore personal property tax.....we get a yearly tax bill for Cars/Boats/Campers at $28 per $1,000 of value
