I am looking for a new suburban 4x2 LT package with no options...

What would be a good price for it?

no trade-in, no financing.

Have you tried kbb.com, edmunds.com, or nadaguides.com for pricing?

Build it on one of the websites and buy for about $500 below invoice before rebates. That's a good deal. However I'd never buy a 4x2. If you plan to tow you might need 4x4 for getting a boat out of water on a slippery ramp for example (just an example as I do on occasion).

You might also try building a 2500. My 3/4 ton was only $130 more than a comparably equipped 1/2 ton. It's a great deal if you ask me.

There is no good price on one of those vehicles now. They are all overpriced by at least $ 10k. Last time I looked into pricing a new 2500 Suburban 4X4 I was stunned. Even with all rebates and priced right at dealer's invoice, it was still almost $ 50k before taxes.

I would wait a little, our field stock is over 130 days and GM wants 60 days on hand, we start the 2012 end of this week start of next week. They are going to have to offer good rebates in my opinion to start moving the 2011s.

I'd never buy a 4x2

Have never had my 4x2 Tahoe stuck. The G80 along with stabilitrac and traction control are a wonderful thing.

? Been through a few blizzards with the Tahoe, performed flawlessly.
