Exhaust install

So, I went ahead and just ordered an exhaust on Friday. I was somewhat nervous about doing this as I have never heard a truck with this exhaust before and I did'nt want it to be really loud. It's a Gibson Dual Swept side exhaust. It exits at the same place as the stocker but there are 2 polished chrome pipes now instead of the one. To my surpise the pipe was there on my porch Saturday afternoon. 1 day delivery, on a Saturday  :thumb:

The install was cake even though I was doing it alone and those mufflers (stock and the Gibson) weigh a ton   :D

It took the better part of an hour and a half. I could'nt get the dirty clothes off and the clean ones on fast enough to take her for a spin.  WOW does that make the truck sound FINE!!!!! not to loud at all. He11, even the wife figure likes it!!

Needless to say I have not turned the radio on since Saturday morning. It was 26 degree's this morning and I'm driving with the passanger window craked so I could hear the rumble.     All and all I was glad I made the purchase.  enjoy!

Sounds good, I'm a window guy myself, so I would imagine if I got a replacement exhaust, I'd have both of them down in the snow...ha.  enjoy.

Where did you order your cat back system from.  Did it make any noticeable improvement in performance

I've ordered parts from both of these places and they are pretty good about customer service and satisfaction.  Try Truck Performance Center or Performance Products.  There are tons of places to order exhausts from though so you might not find the lowest price at either of these places.
