Very Nice!  That's what I'd like to do with my 2WD.

 

To answer the question of why not buy a 4WD vs 2WD.  

 

I had 4WD for 16 years and rarely used it, but it still required extra maintenance, more gas to run down the road, with a crappier ride.  Around here, No. Calif, there isn't squat places to go wheeling, yet everyone wants to run 44's.  Yeah that makes sense.  

 

I still love the tall truck stance, always have.  If I wanted to get a 2WD and slam it, a reg cab would be my choice.  Slammin an X-cab that I intend to pull a horse trailer with would be a bad idea.
