My 2010 sierra didn't come with the round fog lights. Can I purchase OEM lights and wire into the low beams? I don't want to add a swith and all that stuff if possible. I need to know if this is possible without doing damage and what all I would need and how to wire. thanks for your help.

It could be done but you'd have to splice into the factory wires. So depends on what you mean by "without doing damage".

You would be wise to use a relay. It is not the wiring you need to worry about, it is the headlight switch. Why do you not want to go the factory kit? Has to be the easiest way to add fog lights in. Comes with everything you need as well.

I didn't want to go with the complete kit because I was trying to reduce the cost + I'm not very experienced with adding the new selector switch in the cab and etc. I wonder how much the GM place would charge to do the complete job?

The switch in cab would probably be the easiest part. Just get the kit and do it the right way. I know a few people here have done the kit install themselves, try searching around some. There is no good way to power the lights by the low beams. Wring direct is stupid and would probably melt something. The only way to do that right would be to use the headlamp wires as the trigger wire on a relay and have another wire coming from a fused power source to run the bulbs. At that point we're talking more complexity than the kit would be.

Price the kit out, then price out each foglight individually. You will be surprised at the cost differnce. If you can to the DIC mod, you can to the foglight one.

The install is just about plug and play. The kit comes with everything short of a guy to do it. Dealer would likely charge an hours labour. If you think you can add just the foglights, and do the wiring for that, then you can do the complete factory install kit in less time .
