I have a solution for coffee.   Just have a fully loaded Tractor trailer full of gravel in your lane on a blind curve at 50 mph at 4:30am in the morning. On my way to work this morning a young rookie truck driver was in my lane on a blind curve and by yhe time I reacted he had hit my side mirror on my truck. I feel soooooooooooooo lucky. The area I was driving in is known for deer so I was probably a little more conscious than I might have been on another stretch of road. It did dent in the door when the mirror was forced back into it but other than a few scratches down the side of the truck and the stain in the seat its not that bad.  The mirror looks like someone took target practice with a shotgum      My guardian angel must have been by my side...

Sorry to hear that.

Same thing happened to my wife a couple weeks ago, except the guy in the box truck didn't stop.

He acted like he didn't know he hit me until I turned around and ran him down flashing my lights. Once we talked he admitted he was in the middle of the road. Got my estimate from the body shop yesterday and it was $1250. My insurance company is State Farm and man are they great!!They are quick to respond and they are going to go after the guy for my deductible and their money. This is the first claim I have had in 19 years of driving so I was a little skeptical about how the process works. State Farm seems to be 1st class.

Thanks for the support!!!!

I can get my mirrors painted now.  White

Wow, Sorry to hear man, I bet that was a frightening sight! (PS, sorry I just got to this thread, I'm just slow :D)

Too bad there are some Truck drivers out there who give 18 wheelers a bad reputation. There are some out there who probably have no business driving a Big Rig. But the same can't be said for all of them. There are some dang good drivers out there.

Steve, I hope you become one of the best. ;)
