Looking For A Good 6" Lift - Need Advice!

Hey guys I have a 2007 GMC Sierra(classic) Z71 with stock suspension. I have done nothing to this truck lift wise. I have been looking to get a 6" lift or possibly just a 4" depending on price difference. Also I'm unsure with what tire/wheel size I should be looking for. I'm thinking 35's for the 6" or 33's for the 4". Anyone have any good advice for me, on brands of kits and wheels?

Go with a 6". They cost the same as the 4". Wheels options are almost limitless.

35s and yes you can but it might look a little funny with narrow stock stance with a 6in lift

The problem with the stock 17's is that they are too narrow. As a general rule of thumb, you want no more than 4 " of difference between the width of the wheel and the width of the tire.

That size is a 33 btw, just figure you should have at least a 8in rim for a 285, 9in for a 305, and 10in for 325

What Blackout said about the price being about the same is spot on, get the 6" and 35's.

if you just want 6" then i would say BDS or Superlift, if you want a tad more then Fabtech
