Silver Valance :(

I just saw a 2012 silvy with the chrome bumper caps and silver painted valance. Ugly. The caps are not bad but who would ever paint that silver unless the truck body was? GM needs to wake up. Just look at the mods people here are doing for ideas. I dislike the Tahoe with the silver center ad well. I think it is the z71 tahoe. The standard one is so cool, why screw it up.

Well your GMC has an all chrome front bumper, there are no body color end caps on it and you obviously like it or wouldn;t have bought it. Funny you mention the lower valance, I saw a blue Silverado today with the all chrome bumper and silver lower center and it looked good IMO (the only ones that have it painted silver are the ones with the chrome end caps)....The chrome end caps are a mod that a lot of people were doing, maybe that's where GM got the idea. They had to notice orders for the end caps going up?

I agree, if they would have left the valance black it would look a lot better in my opinion.

That is what i said. People like the chrome end caps, nobody paints the valance silver. You are right. I went gmc because of the bumper.
