Im in the market for new wheels and tires and Im wondering if anyone has some suggestions of some good web retailers to check out. Im looking to order the wheels and tires mounted and am hoping to not get hosed on shipping costs. Im looking for good price and selection overall. Any suggestions or shared experiences? Websites?

I had a good experience with these guys as well, I believe they ship wheel and tire packages for free.

just bought tires from tirecrawler.com....best price i found on tires. they just got delivered (BFG KM2's) a day early. not to mention they were wayyy cheaper than anywhere else around. and shipping was very reasonable. 115 bucks for 4 62lb tires from cali to jersey

I just bought another order from tirerack. I got 2 slow leaks last weekend on my 73,000 mile Steeltex OEM tires & was in a hurry. Both on the same side, ran over something hunting the farm. I ordered Sunday & they came Tuesday. After lightly considering options for months I decided on Michelin LTX tires, $167 each, $94 shipping & $70 rebate. I went with OEM 245/75/16 mostly to match my spare & winter tires. It just made it easier instead of jumping up to 265's or so.

Anyway, the new tires look great & go on today. The 2 flats were not worth fixing & a guy wants to buy my original spare. I'll rotate my better used Steeltex as the new spare. FYI, my spare was very difficult to release & drop down after being held for 8 years. The cable came but the tire wouldn't release. I would never of gotten it off 'on the road'. I lubed it well & will do again when I put the spare back in position. It may be something to do if your spare hasn't been moved in 5 years+
