Currently running Nitto Terra Grapplers 295/70-17, soon will be installing new torsion keys and AAL. Where I keep getting stuck is on which tire I will be going with.

Oh, I am running stock 3.42 gears, a premium tune, CAI, and magnaflow exhaust.

285/75-17 - BFG M.T. KM2
295/70-17 - Nitto Trail Grappler MT
305/65-17 - BFG M.T. KM2
305/70-17 - Goodyear MT-R or BFG M.T. KM2

Dont mud, unless I go to get someone unstuck. Do drive off road (trails mainly sand and rocks, or hard pack dirt/gravel). Do need monster traction in snow and slush with and without trailer. The avg towing weight is about 4000lbs or less and I dont tow that much. Most of the time a trailer with 2 ATV's.

I absolutely love my Trail Grapplers. They still have over half tread and I'm going on 10,000 mostly highway miles, with the farm use in the fields also. I wanted a tire that I can drive on the highway in the rain, snow, and dry weather with control, then jump offroad and tear it up if need be. So far these tires have passed my expectations with flying colors, except for snow, haven't had them on for a winter here yet.

I have ran BFG Mud Terrains (KM1) and my friend has always ran KM2's, IMO these things look way better, perform at the same level or better, and seem to not have the mud tire roll on the highway. I honestly feel safe at 80-85 mph on an interstate with these things taking corners and switching lanes, they have a great sidewall and stiff tread pattern.

Good luck! :)

My vote is for a 305. I like the little extra width and think they look better. As far a a mt, find the one that is the best priced. I bought a set of Summit Mud Dawgs for an old suburban I had a put 60K on them. I could have got more if it weren't for a bad wheel bearing and ball joints. They were great on the highway and even better off. They have changed their tire some now but the look like the maxxis big horn. In that old burban i could push mud with the bumper and they would keep diggin!
