Gmc Trucks Are For Girls?

I only got about 1/4 way through the article before I threw up a little in my mouth...

So I only have two things to say after I spit out the chunks;

1. I'd like to see a freakin Acadia or Terrain do what my Silverado can do!

2. When are we as a society gonna stop this B.S. of bending over backwards and changing everything that is good and traditional in America because OMFG someone might be offended? So you change the name from GMC TRUCKS to just GMC because you don't think its female friendly? Before I start one hell of a rant here I'll just sum it up by saying this; If I call your company phone and it says "Press 1 for English", I'm hanging up because you just lost my business.

*** Oh, BTW, I did't get my high paying job because I'm college educated and I worked hard for it... I got it because on the application I put a check in the box next to "female" for gender and for race I checked the box next to a minority... When I went to the interview and they saw a white male sitting across the desk they asked why I identified myself as a female minority... Well, gentlemen, I was in the military for 10 years and fought for my country on foreign soil with superior fire-power; so tell me, do you think I ever once set foot on the battle field prepared for a FAIR fight? If you ain't cheatin you ain't tryin, so fight like you gotta pair! ***

The name was changed because GMC makes more than just trucks now. It was called GMC Truck because that's exactly what they wer, GMC truck. They didn't offer anything but trucks. It has nothing to do with being female friendly.............LOL your interview story is AWESOME!!!!!!!! And thank you for your service in our military, we appreciate it!

You may be onto something. My niece (age 22) just bought her first car, which is a 2011 GMC Sierra pickup. The color is white, for what that is worth.

When we lived in Dallas, if you saw a 3500 dually, it was always a girl driving. That's when my wife wanted a Yukon. We are on our 3rd one and she is still driving it - 2008 Yukon Denali.

I guess I'll be using my wife's Arcadia to drag my dead deer out of the woods.

I'll just strap it across the hood I guess.

Seriously the women I see with trucks.....I wouldn't take them off road. Most are 2wheel drive and have the big 20" chrome rims with crappy tires.

There are always exceptions to the rule. My best friends sister not only drives a mean truck, she dips Skoal.

My office manager, a woman, drives a 1995 3/4 ton Suburban 4x4 diesel. She is looking at a new truck and would never buy a car.

I know twin 40 something women. Both extremely good looking (well they are twins). One drives a 1 ton Ford dually diesel and pulls a horse trailer. The other drives a lifted H2 Hummer with chrome rims and a super charger. (I would think she causes accidents from the guys staring)

To be quite honest. I want my other half in a full size truck or full size SUV. Something that has a frame front to back (no sub-frames). Just me.... But its more metal to bend before it gets into her. Plus its nice and heavy, so the vehicle weight battle is won.

I have one customer that has horses and her husband has a welding service. She drives a round a LIFTED F-350 dually. Most of the time you see her she has a goose-neck trailer with steel on it headed where ever her husband is working. All 5ft 6ish inches of her and 100lbs..... Quite the site to watch her jump up in that 1ton I would have to climb into. Forgot, it's long wheel base, crew cab and she always has her two kids in the back seat.
