When i try to edit my gallary, I get this

 

"Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 16777216 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 84 bytes) in /home/gm-trucks/public_html/forums/ips_kernel/class_db_mysqli_client.php on line 751"

 

Also, I still have my 07 gallary and would like to delete it, but every time I try, it says I need to be logged in,.... I'm already logged in.

 

Also, I can't upload photos to my 2011 gallary.

 

Whats wrong :thumbs:

Try deleting your 2011 truck and then starting fresh, when I fist made one it didn't work then I deleted it and tried again and it did.

 

On a side note I tired to nominate you for truck of the month but one of the rules was you had to have a link to a garage, which I didn't, so even thoughone was a link to a thread and in the vote it is a link to his member profile not a garage your truck never got in the vote. Personally I think that is childish -------- but if you get the garage sorted I can try nominating you again next month haha

Cool, thanks... I'll try that. :thumbs: Certainly can't hurt to delete and start over.

Already tried that.. even deleted all internet temp files and cookies to see if that would help with no luck. :thumbs:

Also won't let me create a new album. I also tried to edit in Firefox, IE explorer, and Google Chrome. All 3 wouldn't work.

 

I give up. :thumbs:

I am sorry you didnt understand the rules that were posted on page 1. Its pretty clear what * #4 is. These are the same rules used when the truck of the month was created.

 

Rules:

 

* You can nominate ANY GM make/model/year truck (as long as its NOT yours).

* You may nominate only ONE truck per month.

* Please stay on topic and only post nominations

* To nominate a truck, simply provide a link to it's GM-Trucks.com Garage page.

 

Also please review the site rules, thanks!

 

1. Please keep foul language to a minimum, any excessive un-called for language will be removed and you will receive a final warning.

 

7. Users may not argue a moderators decision publicly. Any and all complaints directed at a moderator must first address the moderator in question via PM. If the problem can not be resolved, then the moderator and user must send their positions to the forum admin. The forum admin will make or change any and/or all final decisions.

I am sure this will be my last post before you flex your internet muscle and ban me and honestly I don't care if you do over such a foolish issue if that is how you think you can have a better site. But at least answer these questions.

 

He did not have a gallery and it turns out for the reason your site wouldn't let him create one so then should people not be eligible because of errors on the sties end?

 

If my nomination did not fulfill the rules based on lack of gallery how did the truck that was posted with a link to a thread fulfill them?

 

If I had of nominated you or another member of staff without a link to a garage would you have searched it out yourself?

 

Do you not realize that everyone that comes to this forum knows what stevens11 truck looks like because he post a lot with it in his sig?

 

How can bullshit be possibly considered foul language not allowed on this forum when I can type it into search and come up with 12 pages of results?

 

Bottom line is he has a nice truck, he contributes a hell of a lot to this forum and then I nominate him for what is supposed to be something that ads to it and you sit there and say they didn't give me a link so I might actually have to take 30 seconds to search it so he cant be in. If you didn't post that you had one child and another on the way I would assume your ridiculous behavior is linked to sexual frustration. Why don't you step back and think about it as a normal person for a moment...

Sorry but I am closing this thread. There are better ways to go about things to try and solve problems. Rules and guidelines are put into place for a reason. If you do not agree with any of these I am sorry.

      2 speed transfer case optional now?

      This is a 1/2 ton thing ONLY.  All HDs 2020-2026 have the two speed transfer case, with Autotrac as an option.     1/2 tons 2019-2026, regular 4x4s come with a single speed case (no 4LO!), and trucks with Z71 ordered, or all Trail Boss trucks come with the 2 speed case.  2 speed case is also an option on WT, and is also standard on High Country.

      2013 5.3 still to this day calls for the PF48 filter.  Which as a 15psi bypass pressure.     There is a TSB, 17-NA-157 that talks about the PF-63 and PF-64 filters which have a higher bypass rating of 22psi.    TSB HERE - temp.xml   "Beginning in 2012, the oil pumps began to regulate main gallery feedback instead of pump out pressure. This means that the oil pump now does not begin to regulate until pressure is built up to the main gallery. This change reduces the amount of time it takes to provide oil to the engine bearing and lifters during extreme cold start conditions.  Main gallery feedback oil pump control systems are present on the following engine families which use Spin-on oil filters: Small Gas Engine (SGE), Large Gas Engine (LGE), High Feature (HFV6) Gen2 and Small Block Gen5 gasoline engines. These engines with the main gallery feedback oil pump control systems are factory built with an ACDelco® oil filters"   It also calls out what engines use those filters.  The gen 4 small blocks were not on that list (LMG, LC9, L9H, L92, L94, L20, L96).  Gen 5 small blocks use the higher pressure filter.          That all said...   Your 7045 Napa filter is the PF63 equivalent, with 22psi bypass.  You are already using the higher bypass pressure filter.  You CAN keep using it, you don't technically have to use it though.

      Do you know WHY the filter relief setting was increased to 22 psig?    When the new system goes into the second stage the pump volume ramps up considerably. It was found that the 15 psi filter bypass setting put the filter in bypass on a warm engine when the second stage was activated. Raising the filter bypass setting forced the filter to do what it designed to do. Filter. Preventing debris from circulating during high load, high rpm operation.    So next question is how did GM find this out? VLOM/lifter failures and a deep dive by Melling Corp.    Last question. Is it required? Look at it like this; a motor may be equipped with a rev limiter. But it only works if the set point in reached. That 22 psig setting only matters if the pressure differential across the filter media exceeds 15 psig during normal warm operation. Second stage kicks in around 3000-3500 rpm.    I can't answer your question because I don't know you and how you use the truck. But I think there is enough information here to let you decide for yourself. 😉

      Probably not their first rodeo, so it should go as planned most likely.  Typically the service manager or tech doing the swap will put some seat time to shake it down after they get it all put back together.  We usually put 50-100mi before we hand them back so if something happens, its not after you get it.  A coolant leaks, oil leaks, a ground left off or loose, vibration, etc.     The new engines so far have been good?  There's been a couple that have popped out there again (the replacement engine) but most have been okay.
