Never heard of it, but, if it does actually work, I will take a pair. They are describing a real problem, and I am one of those that will reach out and grab the wiper blade at 40mph to clear the ice from under the blade. For some reason, that ice will always stick to the blade right in the area you need to look out through. This happens probably once a week on average in the winter, so that is only about 12 times, but, if you have ever had to drive in those conditions, I think you will appreciate the tool.

Looks like snake oil to me. They demonstrate it working on dry type snow, snow that has no slushy compound on the blades, or for that matter any ice on the under side of the blade itself. You want no ice on your blades, purchase Bosch winter blades. I use them exclusively and never do I encounter ice trapped under the blades while driving in the snow. There will be ice that forms after using your vehicle and as it cools, the wet blades will freeze. But if you break the ice off before departure and clean all ice and snow outof where wiper areas sit, and keep the front defroster on, you will not have any problems with ice building up on the under side of the blades. I'm still on my first pair which I purchased in Dec 2009, compared to getting a new set every 6-8 months of regualr bosch blades, I still get a clean wipe everytime. They cost around $45 but are well worth the price. Regular bosch blades are $30 and I always went through two sets in a year, 1 year if I was lucky. I wouldn't feel comfortable having some vibrating device on my blades where it can cause the blade to fall off and the metal holder scratching the windsheild.

 

Like I said, in the video all you see is dry snow, snow that is very easy for any type of wiper including a "non winter blade" clean off the surface of the windsheild. Let's see them post a video of their device in action in real world driving, where slush and dirty snow mixed with salt is normal from cars in front of you kicking it up in the air.
