Backspacing question

I have a crew cab z71. It has the optional 20" chrome clad rims. My question is the backspacing? I called a company that said 6 bolt 5.5 in pattern, 25 mm offset for the particular rim I was interested in. Will that be same as I got or different? If so how different? Any insight? I'm guessing about 1/4 in farther out would work?

Not sure what the offset is, but the backspacing is 5.5"

 

I think 30mm offset is the same as 5.5" backspacing ... but don't quote me.. :lol:

as far as i know the factory wheels have a +31 offset on an 8'' rim.

 

you need to tell us how wide the wheels that you want are going to be. from there you can determine the backspacing.
