I have a 2000 Tahoe and it seems that every year right around the wet/winter time the belt squeeks like crazy! It seems like after you drive for awhile it goes away. And its only while idleing. In the summer time i never have this problem. Just wanted to see if anyone else has this problem and if its a big deal?

Our 2002 Yukon was bad about that and the cure was just to replace the belt more often than actually needed. And get the GM belt from a dealer, not an aftermarket one unless you specifically know of an aftermarket one that works well - I had no luck with them,
