rear end question??

I have a 2003 silverado z71 and my rear end is stripped, if i put it in gear the driveshaft just spins and prior to that happening it would sometimes skid or hop around a turn. can someone possabaly tell me what parts i might need. I also wanted to know if a 2007 gt4 3.73 rear end would be compatable with my truck.

no one on the internet is going to tell you what you need ..

 

the diff has to be taken apart and inspected and an estimate for repair is presented to you ,sorry..

 

as for the 07 diff ,idk,

 

have your diff inspected first before thinkin other cheap (not so sure about that ) avenues
