Interior lights not turning on on door open or key out

I recently got my truck back from the body shop and now my interior lights do not turn on when I turn off my truck and pull out the key, or when I unlock the door with my fob and open the door. Any ideas? I checked the DIC settings, and even reset them to factory settings and checked again, but no luck. The lights do work when I manually push the on/off buttons. Not sure what the body shop could have done since it was just a dent in the rear quarter panel, nothing electrical. They did put a new front headlight bulb in though.

I was having this same problem on my wife's Saturn Outlook, I didn't make the connection until I actually read it.

 

There is a switch on the dash next to the headlight switch that turns the interior lights off, unless you turn the dial on the dash for the dash lights or push the buttons on the lights themselves. My Silverado is labeled "dome off" hers just has a picture. I verified this on both and it acts just like you described.

 

Don't know if this is your problem, but I hope it helps, or is at least just as simple.
